Join us for our February meeting on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, beginning at 5:30 PM at the Genesee Grande Hotel, located at 1060 East Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY. 

Our speaker this month is Bruce Workman, Vice President and Senior Environmental Scientist at Terrestrial Environmental Specialists, Inc., who will discuss the Clean Water Act Section 404 permit program administered by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  His discussion will include an overview of the Waters of the United States Rule promulgated in 2015 (WOTUS Rule), a subject that remains in flux, particularly after the U.S. Supreme Court's recent ruling which will impact a nationwide stay on the WOTUS Rule that was previously issued by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Understanding the Corps' permit program and wetland delineations will be important as challenges to the WOTUS Rule move forward.  We will also be seeking PDH approval for this event.
